Let go, surrender, and release has been the mantra for many this past week (and months). This time has moved us powerfully through the final phase that began a full lunar cycle ago on December 13th, in the House of Sagittarius. In that moment, upon entering the Temple of the Sage Moon, we accepted an invitation to explore into the vast and unbounded realms of high potential, from which we birth our dreams, into which we discover the deep meaning and truth of it all, of ourselves. Lead into this quest of spiritual abundance, we have been experiencing a great light from the origins of Promise and Hope, from which is only recognized through our resurrection from the darkness. We have felt our hearts expand into Jurassic proportion, for some this being the healing gift from out of massive heart break. We are truly in the Land of Extremes. Warriors and Lovers we are, navigating our ways through some desolate territories of fear and trepidation, only to come upon the bountiful lush landscapes of Love.
What have we discovered as we transited through the “end of the world” and were finally and rapidly ushered in through the portal of “Awaken NOW” to the “New World”? Many say, “What has changed?” While others gradually adapt, adjust, and with due effort – gracefully surrender to the higher frequencies that are so evidently upon us. Grace has been our lesson and our teacher for some many years now, and it is a wonder to experience Her.
The processes of self- awakening, consciousness expanding, and perception-heightening are a marvelous expression of the Spirit within us being recognized in more honesty and love than ever before. As we align with nature, we are given the opportunity to begin to harmonize in those natural rhythms dancing before us, offering us their wisdom to embody and to express, as the life force of the heavens streaming though us – we are moved. From this place we stand in our capacity and in our quality to contribute from who we are, from our own unique position of capability we give and we receive. And from each our own contribution, we see what we have and what we have created. What is the reality manifested (Capricorn) from out of the Dream (Sagittarius)?
This has been the essence of this past week’s waning moon. It is the final letting go. Watching the potentials fade like distant stars as darkness seizes the night. The pressure to assume responsibility has been felt like a piercing stare from the guards in the watchtower of Order and Integrity. The calling is clearly one of regaining and reestablishing our sense of Integrity with the natural Orders of Life and of Love.
Venus moved out of Sagittarius and entered Capricorn on Tuesday January 8th, where she will continue on for the next three weeks, upholding her position of honoring the duty to life’s demands and requirements. With this New Moon conjunct the Sun, we see also Mercury, Pluto and Venus all in Capricorn - the archetype of “Authority” – primarily in “the outer world”, but as we know, that which is without, only is because of that which exists within.
As we traverse upon her flesh living out our Karma, the Great Mother supports us, as we support her. This is a time to inwardly seek out your own inner authority, establish your boundaries, and command attention to the Laws governing your own soul and heart land. We have been sequestered into the Kingdom of the Sun, where the Gods are powerful and the stakes are high. Capricorn holds a high standard, and there is work to be done and effort to be applied. It is no small task meeting with our Karma, creating order out of a void of mystery, and reestablishing the placement of our physical and humanness – in this matrix.
The road has been long, many are feeling this, and the judgments heavy. We have gathered so much strength through our defeat and our victories, and it is this very strength that we shall bring forth now. This path is a sobering path where we have the opportunity, in all our capacity, to observe and work with balance.
As we saw on the Full Moon, two weeks ago in the Full Light of the Feminine, the Cancer Full Moon reflected the Divine Goddess in all her fruitfulness on to us. And now the opposite, receptive darkness permeates us with the Masculine strength of action and a keen focus and concentration. Polar opposites merge and contrast into signals and codes, resetting our gauges and reconstituting our basic structures. We are redefining Humanity, as we, each one of us in each breath, chooses to face Truth, face reality and face ourselves.
On this New Moon on Friday January 11th, Venus in Capricorn squares Uranus in Aries. Again here, we see the Supreme Feminine facing with the Powerful Masculine. As Venus in Capricorn holds court to establish commitment, relationship, and support, we have Uranus in Aries, the Grand Masculine energy releasing freedom, creation and independence. There is an internal struggle that we find within and experience in the other. It is nameless and without form or definition, and it mingles with our limitations, testing our dedication and devotion, and apparently threatening our success. Because always, eventually, order cycles around and returns to anarchy, where we have the chance to shed the past and break free and hopefully, for a moment, steal a glimpse upon our true selves. Like a Wizard I know once said: “When the fighting becomes dancing” – and it is there, then, that we feel the flow.
Surrender to your own power to create from your source, allow the cosmic energies to create through you, and build your stairway to heaven. This is assisted by Mars in Aquarius, and out of all the order shall come a revolution of personal desires through an expanding awareness, as we see through our third eye opening the many dimensions of connectivity amongst us.
On Saturday and Sunday, January 12th and 13th, with the Moon conjunct Mars in Aquarius, there is a seed of inspiration settling in to the earth, laid down by the decomposing offerings of the past, nourishing the foundation of the vision. In the dance of the Moon returning to the Sun and renewing herself, we see the beauty of the complimentary nature of the Masculine and Feminine. It is not the nature of the Moon that is changing, the Moon only serves to express in her form the nature of the relationship between the Sun and the Moon that is changing. As we bring our new need to the Sun, like the Moon returning, to be made love to, we are penetrated by Spirit (the Sun) and ignited to thrive. The moon offers her body in all its phases, to represent rebirth and the regenerative cycles in form. In the days following the New Moon, we are in the incubation phase of the seed thought and idea development. Life force is gathering light and preparing to burst forth with radiance to inspire more light – as we shall soon witness in the majesty of the Crescent Moon. On Monday the 14th through Tuesday, the Sun-illumined Moon lets go of the powerfully initiative forces of Mars and refined awareness of Aquarius, to surrender into the healing light of passively receptive Pisces, conjunct Neptune and Chiron. Here, She gently walks barefoot upon the shore of our One Heart and One Soul, surrendered into the participation of the gift of the one breath that we all share. Breathing in and out the Life force in constant motion, the Emotion, the energy in motion; we are in a Sea of Activity, yet in this there IS Stillness too, offering herself to us. With Moon in Pisces joined with Neptune and Chiron, we have the opportunity to feel the Infinite, the all-encompassing unlimited potential alive washing over each one of us. Yet, there is no way to comprehend the vastness of the feeling…
The vibrational messages encoded in the body of water, in the body of all waters upon the Earth, are being sung a lullaby of Love to replenish and reactivate us to our natural state of unity with the Divine. Listen to the call to harmonize in the song of healing, and share in with the Joy and Peace of your own voice.
Take this time to drink of the medicine of compassion, unconditional love, and empathy inherent within the human heart that is open to us now. Regenerate and empower yourself in preparation to return from out of the abysmal coma of inertia, because as each new day brings new light, we shall soon see another spectrum of the Infinite, demanding our action.
For on Wednesday, January 16th through Thursday, the Moon leaves dreamy Pisces and enters Aries, meeting up with Uranus to get us up and going, to confront once again our most personal selves, and look upon the question: what is your mission? With Venus conjunct Pluto and Mercury conjunct the Sun in Capricorn today, we are in a state of rapid transformation of our core foundations and value structures, and in a process of colossal integration of new meaning, new conceptual understanding, and new identification with ourselves and those that surround us. Embrace the Guidance and the Wisdom resounding from the Source of all things as it bestows itself upon you, and trust that you are, in fact, greatly assisted upon your path chosen from out of the source of your own divine wisdom. There is purpose in the mystery of the plan. It is our duty to act with trust, dedication, and focus as we co-create in conceiving the new birth of potential. With the ever-growing Light of Consciousness, as embodied in the image of the Moon, we see we are coming closer towards the ever returning lesson of balance, as symbolized in the first quarter Half-Moon. Equal light reflects equal dark. This stage is about adjustment as we continue to fill ourselves with the growing light of the developing creation at work. It is important now to fill your sphere of consciousness with the purity of your intention, for when the Moon comes full circle and shines bright in its full capacity of light, we shall bear witness to all that has been contributed to the garden of your dreams… In other words: now is the time to be aware and cautious that what you are giving out and taking in is nourishing for the growth of your goal and your mission. Pay attention to what you feed your seeds, for this will become your bounty.
The stage following the first quarter Half-Moon is about giving it all you’ve got, before the waning light takes hold.
This process now on Friday January 18th is supported by the Taurus Moon, offering a slow and cautious pace for us to get grounded and calm in our intentions. Allow into your day, harmony, comfort, and pleasure as renewing qualities that nourish us. We should think to harness upon those energies as best we can, for we will need it in these coming weeks.
As Mercury moves out of steady Capricorn today and into the fast and impulsively motivated energy of Aquarius (for the next 3 weeks), we shall all surely be “waking up” to a greater demand towards the progress and development of the highest and most enlightening possibilities of our hopes and dreams. Our mental capacities will be greatly expanded while our minds are playing in the fields with the inspired geniuses among us and within us.
As the Sun meets Mercury in Aquarius on Saturday, January 19th, we begin the next Solar month cycle (Happy Birthday Aquarius!), perhaps feeling like our fuses feel a bit fried, for a few days, with Mercury all buzzed out! Life may feel as though it’s moving very fast these days because it is! The focus need not be about “keeping up”, as about keeping IN. Staying aware to the inner process, centered in the Heart of one Self, and being guided by the compass of your own inner knowing out to the community of life. From that territory, we are moved in the direction of being united by Universal Love with all the Kingdoms of Life. This is the dream and the prayer Life holds.

Now that we’ve all made it through the end of the world, we can turn our eyes more to the immediate situation of creating a new one! Looking at the situation from the “outside,” we could say that nothing has really changed. However, it bears repeating that collectively we are moving toward a rebalancing of the masculine/feminine or “outer/inner” polarity. The measuring stick of success for the last 6500 years of male-dominated patriarchal conditioning has been “outer,” or “material.” The more property, money, business, or muscle (in some societies) you managed to acquire, the more successful your life could be deemed. For many millions/billions of people existing within the consensus reality this is, and will continue to be, the case.
I’ve gotten a few inquires as to this new name, Kaypacha, so I’ll put it out there that I received it from Mother Giamvati down at Matri Sadan in Brazil. It came through her in the middle of an ayahuasca sacred ceremony, and I feel it is part of a re-birth experience that I went through. She told me that it meant “master of the world of the senses.” It later came to light through my chart reading that I had much worldly power in previous lives and “caved in” a bit to the sensuous pleasures so I have come back again to master them! No small task ha ha! Below is a a bit more about it… It is Inca in origin and a calling for me to master a greater part of myself/life this incarnation. Aloha!
