Not to distract you from your inner work with external world news, but let’s take a peek at some mundane astrology while we’re in the Venus retrograde period. Retrograde often includes REversals along with rebel, revolt, rethink, reschedule, etc. Venus not only symbolizes love and relationship but, as the ruler of Taurus, “rules” money and finances as well. In short, this can also be a 40-day period of financial reversals, i.e., higher unemployment and inflation, with stocks decreasing and currency exchange rates growing less favorable.

Indeed, all of these are happening currently, and things will get worse as Venus goes into the underworld this week, not returning to sight until she rises in the east around the 20th. As I’ve mentioned before, this is a good time to reflect on our values, including our investments. What are you investing your time, energy, and money into? And why?

Perhaps your values are changing, and your priorities are changing. If so, your investments, spending habits, and time commitments need to change also. You may value love over money these days, or meditation and nature walk alone more than either. Your health or family may be taking a front seat now and need more time, love, and money! The important thing is to have our actions follow in alignment with our intentions and desires, as this is what Virgo health is all about. The saying “Put your money where your mouth is” fits these times well!
