Get ready for the Sun in Virgo! Time to batten down the hatches, check all the lines, and get your ship ready to sail! We’ve got a tough captain, Saturn, over there in the sea of Pisces opposing the Sun this week, so we all need to straighten up to ship out. This is confounded by the Mars opposition to Neptune (thank goodness it peaked Tuesday and is waning), bringing in chaos and heightening our desire to escape it all.

So yup, as this week’s mantra says and I speak of in the report, I call the Virgo/Pisces axis the “Axis of Initiation.” It takes courage, fortitude, cunning, willpower, and character to pass the rites of initiation (at least it used to, much to our chagrin, few rites of initiation are still in existence). We have to really “belly up to the bar,” face the music, and not lose our faith, hope, and love in these challenging times.
Last but certainly not least, Mercury and Uranus are stationing retrograde to join the many others! As it stands now, only Mars and Jupiter are direct, and Jupiter will be retrograding within a couple of weeks! Are we going backward? Down the drain? Will we be pulled into the downward spiraling vortex of depression and despair? Hell no! Let’s hold our heads high, believe, and carry on, my wayward son!

As the Sun moves into Virgo today, we will all need to pay attention. That is paying attention to the details, the fine lines, and the fine print of what we have gotten ourselves into and what we are getting ourselves into now. On both a collective and personal level, we are being initiated into a higher level of awareness, attentiveness, frequency, or reality. This comes with added responsibility, maturity, and flexibility.
With Venus, the ruler of both loving relationships (Libra) and money (Taurus), still in retrograde, the value of the dollar is sinking, inflation (and suicide rate) is climbing, and people are being challenged the world over to “get it together or else.”
As I discuss in this report, we create these challenges to evolve on both a collective and personal unconscious level. Evolve new capacities and talents, and discover latent abilities within to cope with and thrive under these new circumstances. As this week’s aspects (including Uranus turning retrograde) show us, we need to accept what comes to us without falling into negativity, listen to the “still small voice within,” and with faith, go forward with our heads held high. Only we are ultimately in charge of determining our character, which will ultimately determine our future. Stay strong and believe!
