AFRICA

Into The Wild
Using the Stars, Seas & Safari
To Awaken the Wild Within
with Kaypacha

Tanzania is a land of adventure, where breathtaking landscapes, abundant wildlife, and vibrant cultural traditions come together to create a truly transformative experience 🦒🦓 🐘

OVERVIEW

Awakening the Wild One: Astrology, Safari & Soul

The archetype of the wild man/woman, god/goddess, goes back thousands of years to Shiva, Kali, Shakti, Pan, Dionysus, Diana, and more. These deities represent our human connection to nature, our raw, primitive instinctual self, and our passion to live life to its fullest. Related to the root chakra, it is the intuitive primitive part of ourselves that is strong enough to not only survive but thrive. It joins us to the sky, the seasons, mountains, valleys, oceans, and all of nature and her creations.

While honored and sought after for over 14,000 years, sadly, the wild man and wild woman have been demoted, scorned, and even punished with the advent of religions and cultural institutions that seek to control the power latent within each and every human soul.

Now is the time of the re-emerging kundalini, red energy, chi, life force that is our birthright and is described in detail in your astrological birth chart.

TIME

Sun in Scorpio/Mars in Sag ☍ Uranus in Gemini

We invite you to join us on this journey to find the wild beauty, power, and majesty of nature, both without and within. With the Sun in Scorpio and Mars emerging out of the underworld into Sag (half man/half horse), to align with Uranus, the great liberator, we will visit the wild within ourselves and on the plains of Tanzania.

PLACE

Tanzania, The Heart of Africa

Tanzania, a stunning country in East Africa, is a land of diverse landscapes, rich wildlife, and vibrant culture. From the idyllic beaches of Zanzibar to the breathtaking safaris of Arusha, it offers an unforgettable journey for those seeking adventure, connection, and transformation. Visitors will experience pristine beaches, lush jungles, and the grandeur of iconic wildlife, all while immersing themselves in Tanzania’s rich cultural heritage.

INTENTION

Embrace the Wild

Together, we will explore astrology, safari, the Ngorongoro Crater, Maalum Cave, the Masai Tribal community, kundalini yoga, and more! Our shared intention is to embrace, love, respect, and express the true, raw, brave, wild man/woman within us. To take our power back and expand our consciousness to unite with all of nature, bringing a grounded sense of cohesiveness, purpose, and flow to our lives.

This is a life-changing experience you don’t want to miss!

EXPECTATIONS

Step Into Your Power with Courage

Our first four days on the exotic island of Zanzibar will have an astrological focus where Kaypacha will share the astrology of our times, emphasizing the awakening of the wild within: Mars, Uranus, and Black Moon Lilith. He’ll use participant’s charts to show how you can activate the unique wild one within you, step into your power with courage, and make whatever changes are necessary for your full, true expression.

We’ll then fly to the mainland, where the focus will turn to natural wonders, animal safaris, and cultural immersion.

Tanzania’s climate varies by region. Zanzibar enjoys a tropical climate with warm temperatures year-round, with a dry season (June to October) and a rainy season (November to May). The Arusha region, located on the slopes of Mount Meru, has a more temperate climate with cooler evenings and mild days. The best time to visit is during the dry season, when wildlife is easier to spot and the weather is more favorable for exploring.

In Zanzibar, light, breathable clothing is ideal for the tropical heat, along with sun protection such as hats and sunscreen. Swimsuits and beachwear are perfect for the stunning coastline, while lightweight layers are great for the cool evenings.

In Arusha, it’s best to bring comfortable clothing for safari activities, such as durable shoes, light long sleeves for sun protection, and a jacket for the cooler evenings. For both locations, comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, and waterproof gear for occasional rains are recommended.

Tanzania is a melting pot of cultural influences, home to over 120 ethnic groups, each with its unique traditions. Zanzibar, known for its historic spice trade and Swahili culture, is a hub of ancient architecture, traditional music, and vibrant festivals. Arusha, a city nestled at the base of Mount Meru, offers a mix of indigenous tribes and wildlife conservation, with opportunities to learn about Maasai culture and explore the history of East Africa’s wildlife conservation efforts.

While we understand that life is crazy and plans change, we also hope you know it is much work to put on a retreat, high risk, and not easy to fill empty seats at the last minute. Our refund policy is as follows:

• 50% refund until July 1st
• 25% refund until September 1st
• After September 1st, no refunds

No exceptions will be made to our cancellation policy, including but not limited to COVID-19, weather conditions, personal emergencies, flight cancellations, or delays. We strongly advise purchasing Travel Protection Insurance. (World Nomads and Trawick International are two of our favorites.)
