FULL MOON 12º Libra ♎︎ , April 1st, 2026
by Amanda Sibilia
~Our emotions are not the problem; they are the pathway.~
This Full Moon in Libra brings an illumination around relationships, identity, and the ways our past has shaped who we are becoming. What may feel sudden is, in truth, the result of a long inner process. During the years of Neptune and Saturn in Pisces, we were deep within the chrysalis, undergoing subtle but profound transformations beneath the surface. Themes of surrender, spiritual connection, and developing a relationship with Source, Creator, and Self were quietly unfolding within us, eventually reshaping our external reality.
The Pisces journey asked us to get honest. To confront what needed to be released, and to take responsibility for the ways our own patterns, wounds, or attachments contributed to toxic dynamics or misaligned relationships. Now, emerging from that cocoon, we are more aware and attuned to our Truth. But with this awareness comes a new challenge: learning how to live as this new version of ourselves.

With fresh skin comes tenderness. We are seeing life and others through a different lens. Naturally, this can create friction. Relationships or environments that once felt secure may no longer resonate. What we were once bonded to may now feel limiting. This is not failure. This is life. Life wants us to change and grow. Our souls insist for us to release what once provided a sense of safety, especially when it no longer supports who we are becoming.
The Aries stellium intensifies within as a stirring desire to move on impulse. Yet with Jupiter in Cancer squaring this Full Moon, emotions rise to the surface with equal force. This is not a time for decisions driven by reaction. It is a time to reflect. Take a breath. Let things settle. Decide later.
The impulse for change is strong with the Aries stellium. Which tends to make us want to act without thinking things through. With Jupiter in Cancer squaring the Full Moon, we are in for an emotionally intense few weeks.
Jupiter in Cancer expands the emotional body, bringing forward feelings that may have been suppressed for years. Anger, grief, longing, insecurity, whatever has been held beneath the surface is now seeking expression. This is an invitation to stop hiding behind masks, roles, or false harmony. At a soul level, we are craving authenticity. In a world that often rewards performance and imitation, this Full Moon calls us back to more genuine expressions, no matter the push back or fall out.
But feeling is only the beginning. This lunation asks for deeper inquiry. Why do you feel the way you do? What are these emotions rooted in? Where did these patterns begin? As we trace our emotional responses back to their origin—often from our childhood and/or adolescent years—we open the door to true healing. This is how we cultivate inner emotional security and more wholeness within the body, heart, and mind.
At the same time, the Moon’s trine to Mercury in Pisces can soften our edges, sometimes to a fault. There may be a tendency toward avoidance, complacency, or seeing things as we wish they were rather than as they truly are. Be mindful of bypassing difficult truths in favor of temporary peace. If we are willing to stay present with ourselves, we may uncover where our perceptions have been shaped by personal bias, projection, or past wounds.
Everything coming to light now is ready for release.
And remember, there is no shame in choosing something better for yourself. If you need space, take it. If you need rest, honor it. Self-care is not selfish. Cancer teaches us how to tend to our own emotional needs, how to fill our own cup so that when we enter into a relationship (Libra) we do so from a place of balance and not depletion.
Equal power but different.
Have the conversations that matter. Speak your needs clearly. Be open to compromise where it is aligned, but do not abandon yourself to maintain peace. True harmony is not created through self-sacrifice, but through mutual respect.
If there is no meeting point, walk away with your head held high.
Choosing yourself is not rejection. It is alignment.
As this Full Moon reaches its peak, allow yourself to release with intention. You do not need to force clarity or rush your next step. Trust that what is falling away is making space for something more aligned and supportive of who you are becoming. Let this be a moment of recalibration between self and other, where balance is not a concept you perform, but a quality you embody. When you choose yourself with love, you naturally attract relationships that meet you in that same truth.
KEY ASPECTS:
April 1st
Chiron conjunct Eris in Aries (25°)
This conjunction marks a powerful point of evolutionary tension and awakening. Chiron represents the wound that initiates us into deeper awareness, while Eris acts as a disruptor of false harmony, exposing what has been denied, suppressed, or pushed to the margins. In Aries, this energy becomes deeply personal. It brings attention to wounds around identity, self-expression, and the right to exist as we truly are.
This alignment may stir feelings of anger, rejection, or being unseen, yet these emotions are not here to destabilize us. They are signals pointing toward where we have compromised ourselves in order to belong. Eris does not allow us to remain comfortable in illusion, and Chiron offers the opportunity to consciously work with what is revealed. Together, they ask us to reclaim the parts of ourselves we once abandoned and to stand in our truth with greater courage. This is not about creating conflict for its own sake, but about restoring authenticity where it has been lost.
April 9th
Moon in Capricorn opposite Jupiter in Cancer (16°)
This opposition amplifies the emotional body, bringing awareness to the balance between personal needs and external expectations. The Moon represents our instinctual responses and emotional rhythms, while Jupiter expands whatever it touches. In Cancer, Jupiter heightens the need for safety, belonging, and emotional nourishment.
Under this influence, emotions may feel larger than life, revealing where we have been overextending ourselves or seeking security outside of our own inner foundation. Here we recognize that true emotional fulfillment cannot be sourced externally. Instead, it is cultivated through self-awareness, self-care, and a willingness to meet our own needs with compassion. What arises now is an opportunity to recalibrate how we give and receive, ensuring that our emotional investments are aligned with our own well-being.
Mars enters Aries and conjuncts Neptune in Aries (2°)
As Mars enters its home sign of Aries, it initiates a new cycle of action, desire, and forward movement. However, its conjunction with Neptune infuses this energy with the spiritual dimension. Mars represents will and direction, while Neptune dissolves boundaries and connects us to a greater, collective vision. Together, they ask us to align our actions with a truth beyond ego-driven impulses.
This aspect can feel both inspiring and disorienting. On one hand, it offers the potential to act from a place of compassion, creativity, and spiritual purpose. On the other, it can blur our clarity, making it important to pause before acting. We are given an invitation to move in alignment with the soul rather than reacting from conditioned patterns. When we slow down and listen, we can act as conscious co-creators.
