On September 7th, 2025, the skies open into a Total Lunar Eclipse in Pisces, with the Sun shining opposite in Virgo. Both luminaries stand at the critical 15th degree: the midpoint of the zodiac, a threshold of balance, embodiment, and integration.
The Sabian Symbol for the 16th degree of Pisces, where the Moon sits, offers a guiding image:
“In the quiet of his study, a creative individual experiences a flow of inspiration.”
Keynote: Reliance upon one’s inner source of guidance. Subjective strength.
Here we are reminded that the greatest revelations arise not in noise or striving, but in stillness; when we trust the inner current of Spirit flowing through us.
Virgo–Pisces: Devotion and Dissolution
This eclipse unfolds across the axis of Virgo and Pisces: the sacred interplay of service and surrender, refinement and release, order and inspiration.
• Virgo teaches us to tend, refine, and embody the sacred in the smallest details of life.
• Pisces dissolves boundaries, reminding us to trust the greater flow and to commune with divine imagination.
At the critical 15th degree, we are at the soul’s midpoint: not called to choose one side over the other, but to weave them together. This eclipse asks: How can we bring Spirit into form without control? How can we allow inspiration to shape our daily devotion without dissolving into illusion?
Jupiter’s Blessing: Bridging Past and Future
Jupiter in Cancer forms supportive aspects to both Nodes, a sextile to the South Node and Sun in Virgo, and a trine to the North Node and Moon in Pisces.
This creates a benevolent bridge between the karmic past and the inspired future.
• The South Node in Virgo reveals over-identification with criticism, perfectionism, or analysis.
• The North Node in Pisces, uplifted by Jupiter’s trine, invites trust in the unseen, faith in divine order, and surrender to grace.
Here, Jupiter’s wisdom comes through in Cancer’s language: nourishment, care, emotional truth. By softening into tenderness, we find the courage to release control and step into inspired trust.
The Great Awakening Triad: Pluto, Neptune, Uranus
This eclipse is amplified by the continued alignment from our most recent New Moon in Virgo lunation of Pluto, Saturn-Neptune, and Uranus, forming a triangle of awakening at 1° (except for Saturn, who has retrograded back to Pisces at 29°).
• Pluto in Aquarius sextile Neptune in Aries: death and rebirth of collective systems meet fiery new spiritual ideals. Old paradigms dissolve, making way for visionary frameworks.
• Neptune sextile Uranus in Gemini: mystical inspiration flows like lightning, bringing radical insights and innovative pathways.
• Pluto trine Uranus: revolution finds its grounding; new ideas anchor into the structures of society.
Together, this triad creates a frequency of collective renewal. During this eclipse, veils may lift suddenly, revealing insights, visions, or breakthroughs that feel like whispers from the future.

September 16 – Venus in Leo trine Chiron in Aries & Mars in Libra opposite Chiron
The heart of the week brings deeper layers of relational healing. Venus trine Chiron softens old wounds of self-worth, inviting us to feel loved and seen exactly as we are. At the same time, Mars opposing Chiron may stir relational tension, illuminating where conflict, assertiveness, or fear of rejection are still tender. Together, these aspects invite balance; reminding us that healing happens not through avoidance, but through honest and compassionate expression of our needs.
September 18 – Mercury enters Libra
The tone of communication shifts as Mercury leaves Virgo for Libra. Our words become more diplomatic and graceful, seeking harmony rather than critique. This is a beautiful time for conversations that mend, for negotiations, or for creating balance in partnerships. The caution here is to remember that true harmony arises from honesty, not from avoiding what needs to be said.
September 19 – Venus enters Virgo
Venus descends from the passionate stage of Leo into the humble temple of Virgo. Love now asks for devotion through the details: care, consistency, and thoughtful acts of service. This transit reminds us that love is not only the grand gesture but the small daily offerings that sustain trust and connection. At its highest, this is an invitation to bring sacredness to the ordinary.
September 20 – Venus in Virgo square Uranus in Gemini
As the week closes, Venus squares Uranus, sparking change and unexpected shifts in matters of love, money, and values. What has become stagnant or overly controlled may be shaken loose. Sudden revelations, awakenings, or even disruptions may arrive, but they come with a liberating quality; helping us break free of patterns that limit our growth. This aspect reminds us that love must breathe to thrive, and that authenticity sometimes requires shaking up old structures.

This Lunar Eclipse in Pisces invites us into stillness, receptivity, and trust in divine flow. The ritual below is simple, quiet, and soul-centered: meant to honor the Sabian Symbol of “a creative individual receiving inspiration in the quiet of his study.”
Materials
• A bowl of pure water (to represent Pisces’ flow and clarity)
• A candle (Virgo’s flame of devotion)
• A journal or blank page (to capture inspiration)
• Optional: incense, gentle music, or a crystal for intuition (amethyst, moonstone, aquamarine).
Steps
1. Create Sacred Space
Light the candle and place the bowl of water before you. Feel the balance of fire and water, Virgo and Pisces, structure and flow.
2. Centering Breath
Close your eyes and breathe deeply. With each exhale, imagine layers of striving and control dissolving into the vast ocean of Pisces.
3. Gaze into the Water
Soften your eyes and gaze into the bowl. Let thoughts drift by like clouds. Allow images, feelings, or inspirations to rise.

Place your hands over your heart and whisper:

Guided Meditation for the Eclipse
Close your eyes and imagine yourself seated beside a vast, luminous ocean under the eclipse-darkened sky. The waves breathe with you.
Above, the Moon dims as Earth’s shadow passes over it. With each moment, layers of perfectionism and control wash away like sand carried by the tide.
At the eclipse’s peak, all is still. Spirit whispers:
“The wellspring is within. Trust what flows through you.”
As the Moon reemerges, glowing once more, a current of inspiration rises within you. See yourself as a vessel of creativity: your body the temple, your life the canvas & Spirit the artist painting through you.
