The fire burns from within. Activate transformation from the inside out, reconstructing and creating a new self-image to bring to society. To be out in the world and in a community in this new way takes effort through the power of choice, courage and continued faith and confidence in oneself. Liberate yourself from mental limitations, barriers and resistance that you have continued to believe in. Bring higher Leo embodiment into the group or society.
Birthed from Leo
This Full Moon is like a “Leo Moon” showing up in Aquarius, at full bloom. It’s the reaction from that beginning seed point. How are you showing up?
Lions work together as a group when hunting. Does a lion need to roar all the time? No, it’s called quiet confidence, and when the lion does roar, it’s powerful. It doesn’t have to prove itself when it’s in its own power confidently. It doesn’t need a dramatic song & dance, or work its charisma, to pull a favored opinion to gain approval. It simply is, does, and is proud of it. Show yourself attention and love, from which to be, and give to others generously from.
There’s a freedom in being yourself, believing in yourself, freeing yourself from approval. Self-confidence within social constructs can inspire others to be that way as well. You don’t have to prove or explain yourself when you are in your own power confidently. Express your heart energy. Be transparent.
The freedom of will. With an observing awareness of others, and yourself, you can choose how to be, act, create your life, and respond in ways that uphold, and are in alignment, with your integrity. Your will is part of your choosing function every day. Be intentional.
Stranger In A Strange Land
Living from your own uniqueness might not please everybody, or fit into traditional roles. It can leave one feeling isolated or as “Black Sheep” in a society that doesn’t “get you” or that people seem to marvel at you like a circus freak or alien. It’s risky to put yourself out there. Continue to just be you, confidently, regardless of the reaction of how society sees you. Leo doesn’t have to feel the need to fit in. Are you allowing society to define you, or do you define yourself? Be yourself, unapologetically. Maybe you’re meant for a new community or group, if you choose.
Peak Energy and the Leo/Aquarius Combo
Full moons are very characteristic of Leo. It’s the full shine, the illumination SEEN. The Full Moon shows us everything, our all, the heart on our sleeve, “this is me.” Embrace your originality and who you are while accepting and supporting others as their own unique selves and their own contributions.
Bring your uniqueness, talents, skills and “you-ness” to society. There’s no one like you. Bring it to the people. Liberate yourself, be yourself, it’s okay to be weird. How do you fit in and work with society in your unique way that plays a specific role?
Motivate others to shine. Be a leader in a volunteer setting perhaps. Use your energy for the good of a group. Lessen the ego and be a part of a humanitarian cause, something bigger than yourself and contribute your fire to it. Involve yourself with kids and children in a positive way in the community, or at a summer camp, inspire them, lift them up, and lead by example. Paint a mural in the community with a group.
Beyond Egoic Self-Centeredness: The star joins the chorus.
Think of a show that involves audience participation, like the bizarre ‘Blue Man Group” or “The Price Is Right” game show or a magic show. A “civilian,” a non-performer, becomes part of the act.
This is the part of the play where the lead role steps in to join in and sing with a chorus of individual characters. It’s moving, it’s powerful.
This is when you’re at a stadium concert and the whole crowd is singing along with the performer as a united whole. You see a lot of this at the Oasis reunion shows.
This is social creativity, creating something with a group of people. Instead of Cheap Trick’s song “I Want You To Want Me,” it’s the humanitarian intention, willingness, and talent of each individual superstar, that came together to sing “We Are the World,” which was written by… LIONel Richie.
A band may have a stand-out, “look at me,” front man like David Lee Roth (Leo by the way), but Van Halen was a band comprised of the innovative Eddie Van Halen (Aquarius!) and 2 other band mates as well. Every band or ensemble has its individual players that play a part of the whole.
Dual elements involved, “me” and “all of us.” They work together, they need each other and we can realize further who we are as individuals as well when we participate and add to society.

Grand Air Trine & Dual King Kites
This makes me think about that button for your car’s air conditioner that you press to circulate the air inside the car. Think three intelligent masterminds huddled in, head to head to head. It’s “Think Tank” energy. Networking. This Air Grand Trine is a thinker, an innovator. Freedom of thought, open mindedness. Experimenting. Group communication and ideas. Maybe it’s time to break the rules in creating something new.
This chart energy is also like the observing pilot captain walking around the aircraft before its voyage and making necessary adjustments, going through the checklist involving the co-pilot and communicating what’s necessary. Maybe the plane is too heavy, some luggage has to be left behind. Maybe the plane is being forced to leave where it’s at.
Twin Kites
With Uranus and Gemini of course we have not one, but TWO, kite formation aspects involving the Grand Air Trine! Air AND kites, perfect! Everything is GRAND and dramatic in Leo. Talk about Aquarius’ dreamy “Castles in the Sky.” This energy wants to sail our ideas right through the Lion’s Gate and into reality as a new dimension of ourselves. We can direct this Air energy in a certain direction and use it. Fire and Air combine here with ideas, motivation, creation and lift off.
Just like flying a kite, patience and observation is essential. We need an objective view, a higher perspective and use a degree of detachment to be calm in challenging situations.
There’s a push/pull feeling when flying a kite. The air wants to send the kite far out with a strong wind. Don’t get distracted. Hold on, and real it in some here and there. You have control over how to make the kite do tricks. You are the anchor and controller of this fun magic, working with the wind. Remember, kites are for fun and entertainment, we are in Leo season after all. If your hubris ego begins to arise, you can reel it in a little bit.
+ The Mars to Saturn Kite stokes the fire within us. There’s inner action and inner passions for a new start. It also calls for you to tap into mental discipline. Lead your personal will energy and assertiveness to support whatever that is for you, instead of being pulled back into comfort zones, distractions, using avoidance tactics, following someone else’s desire, or not wanting to rock the boat in some way. Take the spool of string of this kite from your father, or mother’s grip, and say, “Let me do this.”
That tension you feel on the kites string, it’s actually necessary right? Initiate mutually constructive relationships that can help to create structure for their fruition.
Saturn is building up your self-respect. Reassess and work on where you need more self-discipline. What new limits and boundaries do you need to put on yourself to keep you on track? Or what limits your freedoms? How have you been limiting yourself? Take responsibility for yourself.
+ The Pluto to Mercury Retrograde Kite supplies air to your courage to go beyond what you’re used to doing, those old operating systems. You can only get so far within your mind. Listen to your heart, those inner passions and messages that spark motivation for something that needs to take off and fly. Air is life-giving. Bring air to your heart. “Re-fly” your kite where there is better wind to where it will be seen and fly higher, where it will lead and show the way for others, or …”ah-haa”… guide you to follow the yellow brick road dear Lion, to lead your “pride,” group, club or community in some capacity.
