〰️ The past is dissolving, and the new vision will arrive  〰️

It is eclipse season, and this lunar eclipse is not holding back. It is an eclipse on steroids basically, and our friend Saturn is smack dab in the middle of it, creating an opportunity for real growth and maturity.

Saturn is a smart friend to have, but he is not the easiest one to be around. So many demands and requirements and whatnot. Djeez Saturn, we are trying our best! Or are we? That is a question each and every one of us must answer for ourselves. Some people don’t seem to try at all, seemingly free of guilt, while others go overboard, taking on not just their responsibility, but other’s too.

Saturn is the one who keeps power in check and will indicate who is a true leader in this world. A spiritual Saturnian is a human who always tries to live by their word. One hundred percent reliability. What you see is what you get. No glitches. No sudden surprises. Their word is their law. And the Saturnian process is one of a diamond in the rough. Little by little, Saturn matures the ego, waking up the individual to its true responsibility.

The Sabian Symbol for the Virgo Moon: «Mary and her White Lamb,» mirroring the innocent and sincere, and the Sabian for the Sun: «An inhabited island,» both reveal key components of what it means to be civil and mature. We have to find a way to live here together despite the rather intense polarization that is eating up a lot of energy and power.

Earth is currently going through a stage of release relating to the closing up of one huge cycle, the Saturn-Neptune cycle. This cycle began in 1989, and it led to big changes in the world, such as the Iron Curtain coming down and the USSR dissolving. And dissolution is happening as we speak. Alliances are being shifted around, and power is once more redistributed. Old structures are being challenged, and the world feels a bit disoriented as the old foundational rocks tremble.

What was once solid might not feel as solid anymore. And with this current eclipse, it becomes evident that whatever is happening in our lives, and in the world in general, we will have to find a way to align with the spiritual again so that we can use this time to grow as humans and overcome the lower instincts that want to freak out in fear. This is a time for making important choices. It’s the small details that will change the outcome, like choosing not to respond, choices that change our energy, and how our day ends up being. We need that discipline, and we need to check in on the ego so that we are not going overboard just because of our thirst for perfection.

Service and serving are a natural part of this nodal axis, and Virgo being so tuned into all the details of everyday living, this eclipse can inspire us to create more order and structure. When life is chaotic, it really helps to clean out the clutter. Try getting an overview of your situation, and if you are in dire straits, look for opportunities. You might have to shift your perspective entirely and readjust to what reality asks of you rather than insisting on your preferences. This is clearly a lunar eclipse that requires a solid dose of flexibility and capacity to move with the flow.

Venus is currently retrograde, moving from Aries to Pisces and back, and Mercury will join this retrograde motion in the same area of the zodiac a day after the eclipse. This is quite extraordinary in terms of astrological cycles and adds a layer of intensity to the inner process of readjustment. Financial stress can challenge you to be more creative with what you have, and if you feel that your life is not the life you want to live, this inner retrograde process can help you realize where you need to close a door so that another one can open for you with the solar eclipse in Aries the 29th.

We are now on a journey from Pisces to Aries energy, with Neptune also shifting into Aries before the Solar eclipse, and it is like we are all moving out of a foggy Pisces territory to a more vibrant, dynamic, and individuated Aries energy. This is the symbolical birth from the womb of nothingness into becoming a true individual, and the umbilical cord of co-dependency needs to be relinquished. The past is dissolving, and the new vision will arrive. Meanwhile, the challenge is to be at peace even if it feels like you are living in some sort of twilight zone and the triggers are abundant. Breathe, be patient, wait and you will see.
