〰️ Clear space 〰️
Full Moons tend to stir the passions and provoke the instincts within. We can feel the intensity in the air. Often during Full Moons, we feel our own heightened intensity. La Luna has long been evidenced as not only affecting the ocean’s tides but the “human tidal waves” as well!
Perhaps the gravitational pull towards the light ungrounds us, or such a phenomenon so brightly looming above us in a mysterious stary sky is unnerving to our primal instincts? And still, some utilize the magic of the Moon’s light to offer prayers upon and cast intentions and spells into the night. Maybe it’s because its majestic luminosity provokes us to remember how full of light and power we are? Or for some, maybe beneath the grandiosity of the Full Moon, we feel insignificant, paling in its shadow?
With the Sun in Pisces, we are in the season of surrender. Soon the Equinox will raise us into a fresh new beginning. But for now, we are in the closing cycle of the zodiac and therefore releasing in our own lives.
The Virgo Full Moon (the sign opposite Pisces) is about grounding and materializing the Spirit into form. Virgo helps us make real our intentions and dreams and realize the infinite potentials and divinity that lives and breathes within each of us.
Through our bodies and our ability to think and act, we can manage and make something out of all these possibilities. This is often where crises erupt, when we realize that awareness has not yet been gained or reality has been avoided. Or when we can no longer get away with shirking the responsibility of paying attention or being present with what or who is important in our lives. It’s the straw that broke the camel’s back. And now the crisis which could have been avoided with the proper care (attention, effort, focus, presence) cannot be ignored and requires responsibility, without question. Where in your life have you not paid enough attention? Now is the time!
The Virgo Full Moon speaks of taking time to clear space, tidy up, and discriminate, where necessary, around what’s influencing your environment and what it may need to function more optimally for the best and healthiest outcome. Self-care is a must for not only survival but success.
Virgo wants results and, in the process, learns that sometimes the best way to get there is to let down one’s guard and step out of the way so that the unseen miracles waiting on the sidelines can have the space to show up. It’s about that delicate balance between the axis of Pisces and Virgo, that of knowing when to do something and when to stop and rest in the stillness (or chaos) and wait as life continues to happen and perhaps someone else does something in return.
On the coattail of the Full Moon, the Spring Equinox arrives! Hail to a new season of a fresh new perspective! As Aries season comes around, we are reminded that we have the power. That we are the power, and we are the creators. Aries has an insatiable instinct to experience one’s desires and interests. We are what we make of this life. We are life!
Aries says, “Take the reins and go forth and experience life! Take a risk. Be brave, find the courage. Face yourself. Face others. Aries is the Warrior, and in life, there is always a war somewhere to confront and find peace with.
Spring is a time of celebrating! The battles fought and won. The demons conquered. The love lost and gained. Life is not easy. As we go out on our own, we realize we are not alone. We share this world, and we are connected. The challenges await to strengthen you, and the victories are there to honor you.
Without recognizing our feats and accomplishments, without honoring the true rites of passage that we each experience as we move through the cycles and seasons of our own lives, we risk the imbalance and toxicity born from an environment that has too much neglect and not enough appreciation. The Spring Equinox and the Aries Season is a time to celebrate being alive!
Aries asks us to stop with intention and physically CONNECT with Life. Be loud, be bold, be remarkable, take action, and leave your unique imprint.
Sincerely,
Jessica Dawn
