~We are never alone~
The ideas received and the seeds planted on the New Moon germinate and mature at the Full Moon. The quality of fruition reveals the conditions under which the seeds were grown. Soil, Water, Light, Air.
Notice if…your habits are a response to outside forces, your patterns of behaviour affect the Beings around you, your values are born from within or a response to without.
The Moon separated from the Sun following the New Moon in Virgo, passing through all the transpersonal zodiac signs. Her time in Virgo built the bridge between self-centred discovery and connection with the other Beings in your life.
The sweep through Libra–Pisces turned you inside-out. The Moon cycle returns to Self with this Full Moon in Aries. Self-discovery is energized by the fire of Aries. However, the power of a Full Moon lies in the axis of polarization, Moon opposite Sun. Aries–Libra is the axis of Relationship. Fire needs Air.
Turning inside-out cannot be forgotten. We are relational Beings.The ruler of this Aries Moon is Mars in Cancer, a Mutual Reception. And Mars sits at the potent anaretic degree, preparing to leave Cancer with a flourish.
Remember you are a warrior. Defend the vulnerable. Protect your home. Emote with courage. However, be aware of the self-centred trap of the Aries I AM. We are enculturated to believe that success is achieved by solo effort. And failure is the result of individual inadequacy.
Both are never true.
Mars in Cancer is held in the hard shell of the crab like the armour of a warrior. The rigid, iron clad warrior cannot feed himself or move with grace and ease.
Speaking from within a helmet’s visor creates only muffled echoes. Isolating encasement results in the atrophy of all our faculties.
Turn to the Sun in Libra to seek balance.
I AM my relationships.
It takes courage to be vulnerable and speak the words “I need help”. No battle is fought alone. The truth that we are never alone is emphasized by the New Moon conjunction with retrograde Neptune. If you work to achieve balance between self and other, the inner radiance of the collective Creative power will shine forth.
The shadow of Neptune’s influence, if balance is not sought, is the continued illusion that you function alone in the world. An unfortunate consequence of believing you act alone is the absence of gratitude. Offering thanks is an outward facing gesture and an invitation to welcome more gifts.
Neptune reminds you that gratitude can be extended beyond your Earthly companions to include your spirit helpers, guardian angels and bright loving ancestors of blood and spirit.
Truly, we are never alone.
There is a poetic balance or inherent harmonic with this particular Moon cycle. From late degrees of Virgo, the New Moon began a journey through the upper zodiac like a new born child supported by parents and grandparents. Then the middle age, vibrant Full Moon was reborn in Aries at the beginning of the zodiac held in check by the Sun’s balancing polarity of relational Libra.
Continuing through the cycle, the aging Moon swings through the lower zodiac, rediscovering a personal identity. Finally conjoining and darkening with the Sun in Libra, like a death, the Moon joins the ancestors in a true expression of oneness and awaits rebirth. Regardless of your age and stage of life, you can discover or, more appropriately, reawaken The Self. And to experience the full richness of a life, remember, you never walk alone.
September 28th
The story of the Aries Moon comes to a crescendo as she conjoins with retrograde Chiron who has just returned from Taurus. This anaretic degree meeting is humbling as your wounds of identity are remembered. However, the fire is not dampened; Mars has exited the waters of Cancer and entered Leo.
The fiery, out of sign, square between Mars and Moon-Chiron is one aspect of an off centre Grand Square through which Air feeds Fire. The other two planets creating this pattern are Pluto in Aquarius and Mercury in Libra. The challenge and support for transformation comes with open and honest communication. Talk to your confidents’ about how you will transmute wounds into medicine.
September 26th – October 1st
The Moon becomes the wind beneath the kite as she dances from the apex, conjunct retrograde Neptune and Saturn, to the wing, where she joins Uranus.
The Moon’s passage from Aries to Gemini, from the apex to the wing tip, precipitates a change in the wind and a reorientation of the kite.
The spine or tension axis of the kite shifts from Libra Sun opposite Aries Neptune–Saturn … Am I really in control? to Leo Mars opposite Aquarius Pluto … I am the creative force of transformation.
You can look to the tip of both kites, to powerful Uranus, to offer a supporting role reminding us that rebellion is always an option and inspiration is a gift that becomes genius.
October 3rd
The third quarter Moon becomes a moment of great tension. Two T-Squares form simultaneously. The Moon squares the Sun opposite Saturn forming one T-Square and Mercury conjunct stationed-retrograde Venus squares Pluto opposite Mars to form the other. Wow!
The Moon in Cancer witnesses the tension between the Sun in Libra and retrograde Saturn in Aries. This is an emotional powder keg rooted in desire for control. Can a balance be achieved between personal needs and the collective harmony of the family?
The second T-square is a very powerful reconning in the underworld. Psychopomp Mercury joined Venus in Scorpio on Oct 1st. This transit feels supportive for Venus as she undergoes her trials and tribulations in the depths of demanding Scorpio.
On the 3rd, Venus stations retrograde and slips further into the Heart of Darkness. Pluto in Aquarius opposite Mars in Leo super charges the transformation process. A supportive Sail pattern, formed on the same day, can be found in Neptune sextile Pluto and trine Mars. Look to the Divine power within you and pray for the strength and guidance to weather the storms.
