My word for this week is Ambivalence; having conflicting emotions towards something.
The week starts off on an emotional note as waxing La Luna transits Cancer, getting ready for Leo’s full Moon. This is the middle point of the cycle, where we face the intentions that we set at the new Moon, and make a little balance check. It is ok to not be sure which way to go! It is ok to have evaluative inconsistency.
When we do not see the future clearly, and maybe feel frustrated about what has happened or is still happening, it’s a natural coping mechanism to protect our feelings, emotions, and heart. These bipolar reactions can also lead to more overall evolution and help us to see both sides, a more unidimensional view. We all have been through a year that told us to stay distant, don’t get too close, don’t touch, don’t hug, find your emotional security inside, and change. Now we are approaching the same time of year as to when we were first pushed into these social regulations: Aquarius season.
Aquarius can get totally detached, drop out from society, feel different, alienated, rebellious, and determined to change. We all are instinctively social animals, and we need each other. At the same time, we need to find ourselves and share ourselves with each other (Leo), so there is a natural opposition between Aquarius and Leo.
This Leo Full Moon will remind us that we need to be in charge of ourselves without being caught up in taboos or holding the idea of being too different than each other. We need to connect with our own inner creativity, be in love with future possibilities, shine, and get up again even if we fall. The Sun conjunct Jupiter has a message for us; expand your inner passion, take your power back, roar, be in charge of your destiny and intentions.
Pluto, our soul, records and destroys everything that holds us back from our path. It is conjunct Venus, our values, and what we own. This conjunction is helping us to align our values with our evolutionary path. Let go of your possessions and only take what is really important, take a risk and take a step!
As we would hear in Narnia, “Aslan is on the move.” And as Paulo Coelho mentions in Brida, “When you were in love, you were capable of learning everything and of knowing things you had never dared even to think, because love was the key to understanding all of the mysteries.” Believe in your future, take charge, be creative with your life, be productive with your love.
Gonca will break down this month’s lunar cycle into weekly and daily aspects for members of the New Paradigm Astrology community. It is a group of folks deeply interested in using the wisdom of the stars to guide and illuminate their lives. I invite you to join us as we discover our greatest potentials, revealed through our unique personal soul maps, which are perhaps now lying dormant in our souls’ recesses, to rebirth ourselves through these times and co-create a new reality with love as the foundation stone.
