As the mutable Full Moon in Gemini is unfolding, the themes of the previous New Moon in Scorpio on the 15th of November are culminating. It is not an easy time for humanity, not on a personal level or on a collective level, and the social interaction of this Full Moon is inspiring us to look at some deeper issues that we carry deep in the womb of our inner selves in order to release them.
The physical aspect of any Full Moon phase is when the power of the Sun, the spiritual heart of the Solar System, is fuelling the moon to the max. This can create hyperactivity on the etheric level, and thus the famous climax energy of the full moon is a fact as the body is being highly energized. The Solar Plexus can get highly lit, and whatever drama arises, it was always there to begin with. Now it is getting visible.
As this Moon Cycle began in Scorpio, all things of intimate nature are coming forward to be seen. Now we are trying to make sense of it all, find meaning in the midst of chaos and uncertainty. There is a pull between the past and the future, between repeating patterns and breaking them, and as we now come to a new understanding of not only who we are but also where we are heading, deep and revealing conversations will clarify our motives and drives. Whatever is hidden deep inside might be stuck there due to a lack of healthy self-worth and fear of abandonment.
Trust is of utmost importance. Who can you trust, and why do you trust them? As the Queen of Love, Venus is working her way through Scorpio, validation is better found inside, and even though the traumas of the past are still lurking in the shadows, the Sun in Sagittarius is inspiring us to have faith despite everything.
We are still working our ways through our ancestral lineage, learning yet another piece about the whys and the wherefores of our lives. As this phase begins with a curious and exploring Full Moon, we are now looking to find inspiration and connection. Being honest is an art, an expression of trust, a manifestation of individuality and freedom, but getting there takes time. It might feel easier to retreat back into familiar patterns of hiding, but now we are encouraged to let the masks drop and shine our authentic selves no matter what.
The wound of abandonment is real, and the question we need to ask is: Do we abandon ourselves as a habit just to avoid disappointment? As we are fixed on certain themes, the mutable and cardinal energy is dominant. That means we need to stay as flexible as we can while at the same time being focused on the process of self-empowerment and not abandon ourselves just because it is a habit. It is time to expand, and as this lunar phase unfolds, we are ready to show up in the world and share our wisdom without caring too much about what other people might think and at the same time keep an open mind.
Freedom is a state of mind.
