Hola New Paradigmers!

Let’s not hold onto our hats but jump into the maelstrom of change, turbulent waters, and white water rushing rapids as the river of life picks up speed on her way back to her mother ocean. As I begin to discuss in this week’s report, this is a Pisces year. Pisces is both the end and the beginning, the end of old structures, beliefs, realities, identities, relationships, and economies, and this includes ingrained fears, limitations, outgrown conditions, and pots that are too small for our expanding roots! Let’s embrace rather than resist these apparent “losses” as life is making room for us to experience more of ourselves and her.

While I say that Pisces is also the beginning, we can see in nature that the actual beginning of the plant is the seed breaking open underground, unseen, and just beginning to express the potential it has long held within it. Our ideas, visions, and dreams are these potentials that it will be well for us to note, journal, keep, and remember through the coming year so we don’t forget or lose them in the white water rapids of this year’s changes.

What we have happening now are many waning aspects: the Sun and personal planets, in general, began many cycles 8-10 months ago and have gone from seed to flower to fruit to letting go since then. Remembering that “What goes around comes around,” we’re now going to be harvesting the fruits of what we have sown, seeing the effects of our thoughts, words, and actions, and getting feedback from our partners, families, friends, and society. Taking it all in like a big inhale can open our eyes and hearts to new levels of awareness and experience IF WE LET IT. Take it all in, open up, let go, adapt, and GROW!

Hola from the Amazon, the heart and womb of the great mother. This is an important time in the history of our species, an important time to remember our roots, our true nature, and not get lost in meaningless words and worlds seeking our attention, money, power, and energy. Following on the heels of the Sun/Pluto conjunction comes next week’s Moon/Mercury/Pluto stellium. Combining these archetypes = intense (Pluto) mental (Mercury) and emotional (Moon) transformation/evolution (Pluto).

I will say this was the first Pele report I did in a small boat full of people, and it wasn’t easy to concentrate or express all that is signified by this week’s transits. What I’d like to stress is that while challenging, the time period extending over the next few months leading into and through the eclipse season is both challenging AND pregnant with tremendous power, enlightening awareness, and a deeper understanding of love.

On the one hand, as I mentioned in the report, we have Mercury opposite Mars, which is a textbook recipe for arguing, impulsive/aggressive speech, hot-tempered exchanges, and overall irritability. HOWEVER, when we add sextile and trine aspects to Venus, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and the Moon’s north node, the entire picture changes! This “bowl” configuration uses the opposition to crack the egg open, which, upon further examination, yields amazing opportunities, insights, expanded awareness, enlightened understanding, and solutions previously unimaginable.

I’m speaking particularly with regard to our personal relationships as this week is the first of three Venus/Mars trines between now and May 22, beginning in water and ending in fire. External events, people, conversations (and perhaps arguments) will push us to dig deep within ourselves, our hearts, our values, our visions for ourselves and our future. While this deep diving may challenge our identity, the status quo, confidence, or inner security, the pearls and deep sea treasure discovered will last a lifetime. Grab a big tank of oxygen and swim with the Venusian Pisces fish and Martian Cancer crabs!
