New Moon 09º Aquarius Jan 30, 2025

〰️ Unapologetically & magnificently YOU 〰️

This next New Moon cycle in February is ushering in the Aquarius stage, and it’s amplified with Pluto and Mercury currently there as well. With Pluto in Aquarius for the next twenty years, the highlighted collective focus is on realizing our individual potential and learning how to effectively co-create with others. The evolutionary urge is to get right with the right people. To belong to the tribe. To create unity by first upholding sovereignty.

It’s here in the evolutionary journey represented by Aquarius that we meet with the muse of innovation, where we’re called to tap our own genius code and live-fully-expressed – mindfully, for the good of the many, not just the one. This is consciousness focused on progress, moving forward, and optimizing potential.

The Aquarius archetype invites us to tread our own edge. If you’re comfortable being boldly edgy in the face of conformity, if you’ve figured out how to shed the skins of the past and break free from your conditioning, then congratulations, this month will be fuel to your already developed rocketship vibe.

But if you’re like many, still on the journey of developing a state of peace and confidence with your own unique traits and pioneering desires, then this cycle’s creative tension can help you overcome fears that are keeping you stuck. That is, if you participate.

Aquarius evokes innovation and provokes rebellion. These are the mavericks that lead us into the beyond. The eleventh sign, the last stage before the last of the twelve. This is the developmental stage where self-awareness peaks with confidence and assuredness. Where we come willing to express our truth for the sake of all. Aquarius is the rise before the descent into Pisces (next month), where we return to the great sea of all truths as one – where self is surrendered. But here now, In Aquarius, SELF is celebrated.

This upcoming cycle also features a shift we’ve all been waiting for. On February 24th, Mars will turn direct after many months in retrograde. The prolonged anticipation and elusive progress will finally relent, freeing us from what has often felt like being stuck under the pressing pause of a divine hand.
The Mars Retrograde cycle is profoundly significant for our personal growth and development. This particular cycle has prompted a deep introspection into how we identify with ourselves, others, and life as a whole. It has compelled us to confront the question, “Who do you think you are and why?” For some, this has been a daunting inquiry; for many others, it has presented an opportunity to transform and ascend into a higher version of themselves.

On January 30th, Uranus stations direct, and just four days later, Jupiter concludes its retrograde cycle. This shift will begin to significantly expand the field of possibilities, ushering in numerous external opportunities after a long and intense period of introspective inner work.

On February 2nd, Venus, Neptune, and the North Node of the Moon join at 28 degrees Pisces. This alignment promts awareness of one’s capacity to expand more – into the ability to receive. Pisces provokes overwhelm, often experienced when faced with having to deal with more than we are used to or feel capable of. Life can get overwhelming fast, and we all develop tools along the way to cope with all the things that are out of our own power. It’s the function in consciousness that represents the infinite nature of being and, thus, the capacity to hold and receive the universe within. This is a theme that we will be returning to again and again throughout 2025.

Additionally, a unique event of 2025 occurs from February 23rd to March 1st, when all planets will be direct for just one week. Typically, we experience all planets moving direct for at least a couple of months each year, but this year is an exception. Keep an eye on that week and observe how your energy shifts towards the external manifestation of projects and ideas you’ve been cultivating internally for months.

A New Moon on Pluto is a summoning into the deep unconscious realms. In the underworld of your own psyche lives dormant potential and forgotten aspects of self. Now is a time to claim that hidden and even repressed power within. To shed the skins of the past, liberate yourself, and step boldly into the unknown. Now is the time to rise in true Aquarian fashion, unapologetically and magnificently YOU.
