〰️ Rise Above 〰️
The Sabian symbol for the thirteenth degree of Capricorn:
“A fire worshiper meditates on the ultimate realities of existence.
Keynote: The subjective quest for ultimates beyond the interplay of life and death processes.
Beyond cultural enjoyment and the passion for accumulation of often-unusable data of sense knowledge stands the willful and determined “adventure in consciousness” of the occultist, the yogi, the mystic. The mystery of fire has always captured man’s imagination because it is the mystery of all transformations wrapped in the enigma of death.
In times when collective, perhaps total, death could be in store for mankind, the process of subjective meditation is fascinating an ever-greater number of people. Are we ready to take this step that the masters of yoga claim to have taken: to experience death and return to the same body? Are we ready to demonstrate our WILL TO TRANSCENDENCE?”
I find this Sabian symbol particularly fascinating (and possibly foretelling) because Dane Rudhyar wrote this interpretation in 1973, almost fifty years ago, and it feels particularly apropos today. Particularly this month and perhaps the whole year of 2022 (let’s hope not). I say this month because, as you can see from the New Moon chart, both Mercury and Venus are conjunct Pluto, the planet of death, dying, the underworld, and the soul.
Through this lunation cycle, Mercury retrogrades on the 14th and returns to station while conjunct Pluto from January 26 to February 15 (3 weeks!) We will see some strong words spoken (and written) and actions taken (like lawsuits) by and against authority figures, institutions, and corporations beginning now as you read this newsletter and expanding in their scope through the middle of February with repercussions extending throughout the year. This undoubtedly reflects the government overreach and the backlash from a suppressed population.
In addition, the reference to “collective, perhaps total, death…” definitely relates to a pandemic or plandemic as there is strong evidence that the virus was engineered and released rather than naturally occurring, resulting in many deaths. I challenge the current narrative as to the actual cause of many of the deaths now happening as the latest figures do not show a significant increase over previous years. Almost no one has died from the flu, which previously claimed 10s of 1000s of deaths per year, and the cause of deaths has been misrepresented statistically to appear as due to Covid when this is seldom true. The average comorbidity is 3, and hospitals in the US are given thousands of additional dollars for “Covid” deaths. While there are other facts to support the situation that the “reality” presented by the mainstream media (MSM) is erroneous, the point is that the human root of all fears -> Death, is in the headlines, in conversations, and our hearts and minds more than ever before.
I mention this not only due to the Sabian symbol and the Pluto aspects (Moon conjuncts Pluto January 3 and the Sun from the 13th – 20th) but because the south node of the Moon is moving into Scorpio to begin its one-and-a-half-year transit and Jupiter is squaring the Moon’s nodes through the first three weeks of January. Please listen to the December 29 Pele Report for the Sabian symbol associated with that square. The main point being that this is a month where we need to summon the elder within to establish, strengthen, and maintain healthy boundaries on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels lest we be overtaken by the Wetiko “mind-virus,” or the collective (read social) consciousness that will be obsessed (Pluto) with fears emanating from the root fear of death—and manifesting as fears and regulations separating people, families, incomes, travel, and destroying whole economies.
Our call during this month is to rise above these fears like a mountain goat climbs above the clouds. Using self-discipline, control, and engaging the powers of faith, hope, and love (Jupiter squaring the nodes in Pisces), shine as beacons of light.
Undoubtedly, Mars traversing Sagittarius and moving into Capricorn on the 24th, soon to unite with Venus, will assist us in making the right choices, cutting cords with limiting beliefs and relationships that served us in the past and no longer do so and forging new connections through new commitments that will lead to new creative acts. This is the time to say “NO” to what is not true for you and “YES” to what is. Not in the quiet and privacy of your own little world but in the realm of the public eye, mind, and consciousness (Capricorn).
So yes, it does look like a month of serious, sober, perhaps melancholic energy. However, this mood may be transformed through contemplation of the “ultimate realities of existence.” We may get depressed and despair if we feed our energy into materialistic beliefs that “this is all there is,” or we may raise our hearts and minds, and those of others, to much greater realizations. We are on the pathway toward liberating ourselves from the shadows and demons of greed, insatiable hunger, and thirst for “often-unusable data of sense knowledge” that will never fill the emptiness meant to be filled with love and spirit.
We are at a crossroads with Jupiter squaring the nodes. We can go forward into a future of unconditional self-sustaining love (Taurus) or regress into being subjugated, manipulated, and exploited due to adhering to others’ values, demands, and manipulations (Scorpio). This Capricorn New Moon is a graduation (or push) into maturation. Let’s help each other do this together.
