~Action and Self-cultivation~

This is a tremendous support and spark for anything new you choose to go for through the use of your actions and embodiment. The Director leans forward, lifts the megaphone to his face and yells, “ACTION!!” You jump to it without hesitation, you do your own stunts, it’s exhilarating! The famous phrase by Nike sneaker company “Just do it” can also remind us to spontaneously act in a Zen-like way to just do it, without thinking about it. In “JUST” doing there’s direct experience of an action. Through direct experience you learn and grow. You also learn, “Do I like this, or, do I not like this?” Now you know. You build identity from experience and trying new things.

It’s all in what you actually do.

Here’s big support to initiate a new version of You and maintain it. This transformation requires new ways of being, your behavior, your conduct, your actions. Direct your “doing” energy. Are you acting through unconscious old impulsive actions, or are you doing and being in a new way?

Unbalanced Masculine

An overly masculine energy can be experienced here as well, expressed as an over compensation, or that is acted from masculine wounding. Yes, you will see anger, displays of over self-confidence, war, The Warrior, etc.. in your outer world, but it all begins with you regardless of your sex.

If you have any issues with masculine themes, men, sex, or extreme elements of aggressiveness, anger, violence, unhealthy reactiveness, impulsiveness, the act of taking, narcissism, you may need further looking within yourself. Here there is support to assert yourself in positive ways and to use more of, and integrate, positive masculine themes and heal from negative ones. Sometimes in order to realize the positive of something, you need to see its extreme opposite. Sometimes the triggering extreme opposites are your projected subconscious begging to be dealt with or recognized and expressed in some capacity.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, maybe there are masculine energy elements of you that need more attention, expression and lifting.

I, Me, Mine

Independent, autonomous, freedom, sovereign themes are all present here. In regards to yourself, feel this energy as a healthy, confident, vitamin “Me” boost. More subjective, me first, self oriented, self-centered, egocentric energy themes get more attention here. Be aware of when you are being inconsiderate. All this, in return, can stir up issues in regards to relationships then.

Check out the song, “I Me Mine” by The Beatles

Self-identity themes, and your appearance come to the forefront. Appearance is used as our identity for ourselves, and to others. It’s how others see, perceive and recognize you as, all in a visual kind of way, along with how people see you act. These aspects can be changing for you.

You know that beginning part in the movie when the camera is leading you up to the reveal of the appearance of the main character, the “star,” your idol? There’s this anticipation and awesomeness about to be revealed, their iconic identity. That lead character is you. Embrace that kind of excitement for yourself. Believe in yourself. You can act as your personal “ideal” from which you can embody and act from NOW, instead of waiting for it to come to be at some time in the future.

Acting Accordingly.

We are what we consistently do. We tend to attach our identity to things we spend most of our occupied time doing. Hence, our “occupation.” “I’m a …”

But there’s more to you than an occupation. It’s how you behave, act, are, and by your conduct in the world on a daily basis. This makes me think of “Right action” of the Buddhist Eight Fold Path. Virtue. You have a choice and a will. Bring attention and awareness to what you DO. Build your character, and to act accordingly to what this “New You” would do. Act as that.

Most basically in high expressions of Aries:

With Neptune, you can act intuitively with compassion and in alignment with your ideal self with full faith in yourself. Embody yourself as a sanctuary. Be a sanctuary for yourself and for others. Be an agent of service.

With Mercury, act with speech that is your opinion, that you stand up for with, that you lead and assert with. Communicate directly and get to the point. Learn by doing, through experience. Think for yourself. Move onto the next thing quicker.

With Mars, that you physically use your body and energy to protect, to assert, to be in touch with your desires and needs, and get, and go for what you want aggressively. To initiate and start with. To take the lead. To explore new pathways. To create with. To enhance libido. To move and use your body, to exercise, run.

With Saturn, that you access your own authority, you become responsible for yourself, you use self-control and direct your energy. You act responsibly, invest in yourself, your actions align with your goals and ambitions. You nip self limiting ideas about yourself at the bud.

With Chiron, you choose not to act as from identifying as your wound. You learn to live with your wound in new ways and act from a healed embodiment. You lead with that, you teach from that.

With the Moon you nurture yourself. Excitement moves you to action independently. You intend for new aspects of yourself to bloom and to lead you forward with.

With the Sun, you matter, you claim and take up space, you have a purpose. You create your identity. Ego is useful. Be confident. A time to direct your will and agency.

All of this is the process of self-cultivation, a self “centered“ focus in ways to grow with. You can put the words “I am” in front of all of these planets and begin to cultivate those Archetypes and energies positively. Otherwise, these manifest themself in their lower expressions, or you will see it in your outer world amplified until you get the hint. Take ownership of these ways, they are your inherent powers to use. It’s about recognizing these energies in you already, and acting as them, bringing them forth, and embodying them.

The Pushbacks

Do you see societal “locks” on a gate? Community, family traditions and strongholds keep the feeling of belonging and safety. Breaking out on your own is scary. You can get pushback when you act on your own accord and desires. The start of individualization is actually a separation. The Mars glyph itself can be seen as a single breakout arrow direction from its source.

Choose boldly, to use bravery, to assert yourself, to smash what holds you back, and pass through the gate like an excited pioneer through an untraveled valley. Discovery awaits around the bend, trust that.

When you act from those places, you can receive challenges and feel discomfort from public opinions, society, family, or a partner. They may find your new path, personal confidence, self assured-ness and action a threat. They find you to be rebellious or self-centered. Or, others can’t see their own freedom of independent action apart from consensus ways, and so they get upset with you, or become disappointed with you when you are acting in these ways.

Understand healthy self-supporting action vs. unhealthy selfishness. You don’t have control of others reactions. You don’t need others validation, or have to change how you are doing things to please others. Act in independence of outside reaction in these regards. You do you. Act on your own accord and feel good about what you do because it’s right, for YOU.

Grabbing the bull by the horns.

The Aries New Moon carries (“ c’Aries ”) into Taurus. Take Aries with you and build with it. Add wood to the fire and keep a steady flame. Whatever sparked excitement in you recently wants to be kept going, maintained and built substantially. Use this energy physically, deliberately and productively.

As still, a more independent, self-sufficient vibe, this isn’t the time to be seeking other people’s advice, (of course, don’t think that you can’t in some situations) but rather, listen to yourself, really understand your wants, needs, and desires and be direct and confident in your actions even if it feels scary. Have faith in yourself. Make a choice. Be brave. Trust. You can handle it. This is not really a “what do you think?” kind of energy with this lunar cycle.

Self-disciplined action is self-love. The Strength card in the Tarot with the woman with her hands on the lion’s mouth. This aligns with being in the driver’s seat, taking responsibility. Calmly taking control with patience. Act as calm confidence. Fixate on a steady, forward movement with those Aries themes, as well as with your values, standards, and with what is in alignment with those values. Act, be consistent, and move forward with this.

You can withstand the heat.

Feminine energy here is a balancing agent with the heat of Aries as a calm presence to be accessed. It continues with soothing elements of cool refreshing water. Seek the solace of emotional sovereignty within you that protects you from outside “heat.”

A critical uncomfortable choice point for growth regarding your values, relationships, or money can come from information received out of the blue and can seem like a heated pressure or a shock in this phase. Say and communicate what you mean and what your needs are. Your relationship to technology can be a topic to inquire about as well. It may be time to break away from, or rather, up level and raise the bar with, in regards to any of these issues. Sometimes that up leveling, or removal, happens from things that come unexpectedly.

Here can also be an energy that synchronistically has you reaching for that self-help book without hesitation on that topic that needs personal attention on a particular deep issue that changes your thought patterns, behavior, and life forever. Care for that issue with unconditional love, be curious about it, investigate it. Nurture stronger growth here with conscious choice, and attention. Choose to be responsible for your own issues, suffering and wounds. Up level yourself and innovate your being from here, forward.

Have a good Journey,

Christopher

Key Aspects:

April 17th

New Moon conjunct Chiron, square Pluto

This New Moon initiates a cycle of deep personal healing and transformation. With Chiron, wounds around identity, self-assertion, and the right to exist as you are come into focus. The square to Pluto intensifies this, bringing up deeper unconscious patterns, power dynamics, and survival behaviors that are ready to be confronted. You are being asked to stop acting from old wounds and instead choose new responses. This is an opportunity to reclaim your power by taking responsibility for how you show up and consciously transforming the patterns that no longer serve your growth.

April 15th – 24th

Neptune, Mercury, Mars, Saturn in Aries sextile Pluto

There is strong support here for intentional, self-directed change. With multiple planets in Aries, the focus is on action, initiation, and self-development. The sextile to Pluto provides the opportunity to make deep, lasting shifts through conscious effort. Your thoughts (Mercury), actions (Mars), discipline (Saturn), and vision (Neptune) can all be aligned toward transformation. This is a time to act with awareness, directing your energy toward becoming who you intend to be rather than repeating unconscious habits.

April 23rd

Venus conjunct Uranus in Taurus sextile Jupiter in Cancer, then ingress into Gemini

Venus with Uranus brings sudden shifts in values, relationships, and financial patterns. There may be unexpected changes that push you toward greater freedom and authenticity. The sextile to Jupiter in Cancer supports emotional growth and encourages you to make choices that nourish your well-being. As Venus moves into Gemini, the focus shifts toward communication and understanding. You may feel called to explore new perspectives in relationships and express yourself more openly and honestly.

April 25th

Venus square the Nodes of the Moon (at Gemini ingress)

This aspect represents a choice point in your evolutionary path, particularly around relationships, values, and communication. Old patterns may feel familiar and comfortable, but they may not support your growth. You are being asked to make conscious decisions about how you relate, what you value, and how you express yourself. Moving forward requires awareness and willingness to choose differently, even when it feels uncertain.
