~ vigilant serendipity ~
This Partial Solar Eclipse falls on the 21st of September and takes place at 29 ° Virgo. This makes for the 2nd New Moon of Virgo during this month, the last at zero degrees. We also still have the kite formation happening. Not to mention all outer planets are retrograde. The Earth is speeding up, moving faster around its orbit leaving those planets behind – as in all cases moving backwards is an optical illusion.
This solar eclipse threshold asks us to consciously take one step at a time or no step at all. Compare this with a camera, knowing when to zoom out and zoom in. Notice the small details in your life and also the overall impact they have, how they affect others on various levels.
As the filmmaker we may even be asked to pause, to notice how we overuse certain human capacities, and neglect others that naturally make us feel connected. If we exploit ourselves to achieve our own or somebody else’s goals, now is the time to question the intrinsic motivation behind our actions. Serving people with greedy, self-oriented policies is not supportive at all; quite the opposite, it degrades your own efforts. The emphasis lies in grounded discernment, derived from a conscientious perspective of an all-encompassing perspective.
Yes, we must keep house with our energy and direct our attention when needed. And yes, we must contribute and sacrifice some of our precious attention to remain awake. The tendency to numb out might become more attractive these days as our trust becomes further violated by people who hold great power.
However, we are gifted with sight and willpower on this solar eclipse.
What and who can I rely on?

The time we spend inwardly oriented will prove of greater service in the long run. If we don’t treat ourselves holistically, we fall short of evolving with the Virgo archetype. How can we be generous and attentive within our environment yet gentle on ourselves, when the world feels so out of balance?
We wake up every morning and do our best. Sometimes in slow motion if necessary.
Our contribution, whether small or large, comes from taking one step at a time, conscientiously. Being locked in at home, taking care of others on the phone, having a crisis and spending time with yourself: all of it matters. All of it is service. To ourselves, to others, honoring our human belonging within a broader scheme.
Illness or crisis becomes a threat only if we see ourselves as an economic machine: suppress the symptoms, erase the error, keep working. Instead, we are asked to see illnesses and service not just as an issue but as an enormous opportunity to practice humbleness and kindness. Still choose wisely, not impulsively, who is worth your attention and effort.
This has little to do with the adventurous or romanticized dream life we see in movies. Our efforts—our very being—are asked to embrace all of life’s opportunities, not only for self-gain but for the good of all. Distraction and mental restlessness may surface during this period as tactics to avoid shame buried in our own backyard: people we’ve run over, people we’ve let down, neglecting ourselves, or simply carrying the weight of being part of human evolution. With so many people suffering isolation, and worse, distraction comes in handy – be aware of it.
There will always be the mystery of interwoven correlations, no matter the context. The point is that not even education guarantees the changes we long for anymore, it can overwhelm us instead. And when we add self-imposed expectations, the weight becomes heavier still, and we fail.
This is not about becoming more tidy, but about cultivating qualities that infuse and strengthen a person’s energetic field and connection with the divine.
This is not a time to set the bar high, but to walk open-eyed with vigilant serendipity. Saturn and Neptune could not be more different in nature. Their conjunction speaks of an eternal principle we may not yet be able to grasp, perhaps addressing the evolution of the Earth as an eternal body. We are just earthly humans with the divine spark
Either way, these two planets question our passage across this ecliptic threshold, asking us to call upon our resilience: mental, spiritual, and physical.
Finally for this day the aspect of Mars in Libra ☍ Chiron in Aries which could well show up in situations that trigger us. Confrontations in which we are confronted with the immediate impact of our bad behaviour on others, or feel insulted by others. The practice is to be mindful and put into consideration the effect our words and actions can have. The scales are easily disturbed and brought out of balance if we repeat self- assertive and sustaining behaviors instead of practicing compassionate listening and honest shares. Choose to connect instead of assert, finding common ground instead of fighting differences.
This ties into the task at hand. To quit the beaten paths of blaming, judging, disconnecting, and instead doing what’s necessary to enhance the level of understanding and connection This includes calling upon higher guidance and befriend our fear to meet the unknown
This isn’t the time to fix, solve, or overanalyze. We’re being confronted with all the negativity that comes with self-optimization. Awareness is not the end of that process. The archetype of Virgo can be very self sufficient. Naturally this image crumbles when we take real, vulnerable humans into consideration. Do we recognize how sensitive we truly are? And how those moments of sensitization– such as an illness– can help us to rely on our confidence?
Resilience.
Resilience is the affirmation of life renewed, most often forged in the aftermath of a crisis. It is a beautiful co-creation between you and Great Spirit. This is what should be emphasized over the next six months: the chance to see ourselves more holistically and embrace a more aligned understanding of our place in a much broader design. Acting accordingly.
So how can we help it?
By shifting our focus toward ritualizing connection—with ourselves, with others, and with Great Spirit—instead of trying to control or push too hard. Whatever fosters hope and faith is worthwhile. Maybe it’s working with children to help raise the next generation. Maybe it’s educating others about the effects of excessive screen time and, at the same time, taking someone else’s children out for a walk to give their parents a break. It could be something as simple as doing the shopping for another, or allowing yourself to be sick and asking for help. Observe yourself and relax into the things beyond your control.
Let ́s make prayer, meditation, or doing unfamiliar stuff, becoming more comfortable with uncertainty our priority. Not for personal optimization, but because these practices support us to align with life. It makes you feel who you are, a precious, whole, spiritually connected human being.
The moon eclipsing the sun speaks about how our capacity to comprehend the inner life is infused with radiant willpower– an urging to move forward– to implement something lasting into our lives. These are things to look forward to. And when we take the time to reflect on what we’ve experienced, not only does our holistic memory awaken, self reflectiveness arises naturally, expanding into a more all encompassing view. In this way, we honor the reversed principle of turning inward.
What keeps us from developing trust, either in those close to us or in higher guidance? What’s in the way? What past memory lingers as a hindrance?
At the end of a long day, or in the wake of a health crisis, what remains is how you relate to yourself. The most beautiful revelations and deepest strength are often born out such moments– even from something as simple as a cold. When we choose not to suppress a fever but allow the body to work through an infection, we acknowledge the wisdom of a mechanism that serves its purpose.
Let us not interfere too much, but instead confront our own fear when something happens beyond our control. This is not to say you shouldn’t monitor yourself or use natural remedies to support the body in healing—only that we might question our level of convenience and impulsive interference. Some alternative, psychosomatic approaches view illness differently: they welcome the final passage of symptoms as markers of resolution, the closing stage of a process that began with conflict long before.
This perspective emphasizes the importance of letting things be and honor the body for what it does. A delirium, whether with awkward numbness or hypersensitive awareness, can make one suffer the heaviness of earthly physicality, yet it can open one’s perception into something mystical.
There are moments when one’s spirit seems to roam through time and space whilst lying in bed–a temporary separation– followed by the reunion as situational awareness rises once more.
Questions for the eclipse:
What is my contribution to myself and others?
How can I act upon my spiritually infused purpose in life?
Can we blend being conscious and conscience?
For a question to reach deeper layers, let us affirm the value of not knowing and allow the answer to meet us.
Key Aspects:
October 3rd: Mercury ☍ Chiron in Aries
This aspect asks us to value our time as a true resource and to conscientiously sacrifice it with intention. It calls us to deepen our capacity to witness our connection to the cosmos, the very force that circles through our veins.
October 4th: Venus ☌ SN in Virgo
Here we are invited to develop faith and strengthen our ability to navigate uncertainty by practicing unfamiliar situations. This means dismantling the walls of comfort zones we once relied upon, in order to become a more beautifully imperfect human. Humanitarian service might take place abroad, in countries less developed—but what about your immediate environment? What small acts of service can you offer right where you are?
Conscientious effort is needed.
May it help you,
To soften muscular tissue,
that has grown too strong.
And rely on something that
Might have atrophied a little.
Faith.
