Hola New Paradigmers!

We’ve got a full Moon that’s gonna kick our butts coming this weekend, and maybe starting now! It’s time to instigate those changes you have only been thinking about or wanting and get it in gear. The old saying goes “Either be a force of change or forced to change,” so when the Moon gets together with Uranus, the planet of abrupt, extreme, individuated change, to oppose the Sun in Scorpio, the sign of deep, deep transformation, we can expect sparks to fly.

Rather than hunker down, cringe, or try to hide, we would be better served to make the necessary changes within ourselves and our personal lives. The Mercury opposite Jupiter (the first of three) in Sag tells us that we have intuitive insight and that our spirit will tell us how, when, and where to go. That is, if we’re not too caught up with and consumed with distractions and “busyness.”

We got the download on what needs to change when Saturn first passed 12 – 20 degrees of Pisces from late March to June. Then, he retrograded back to give us the necessary time to make those changes. Now, he’s coming back (until February) to finish off the job of restructuring our lives. If you feel like it’s tough, things are falling away, or you’re not supported, it’s time to engage your innermost willpower and MAKE it happen. Not try to get someone else to do it for you or change the outside world/people to fit your expectations, but do your inner work. You’ll be glad you did!

Let’s face it, humanity doesn’t like to change. We rearrange the furniture on the Titanic instead of getting in the lifeboat and heading off to build a new future. The journey begins with the first step and there’s a lot of inner work to do in order to summon the strength and vitality to take it.

We can waste a lot of time trying to change the world when, in fact, it is ourselves and our lives that we would be better off changing. The Sabian symbol reminds us this week that it is willpower that is going to do the job for us. It’s time to cut out and let go of whatever is holding us back. We may think we’re victims when, in truth, we are victims of our own fear of inadequacy, unworthiness, or failure.

Let’s take this full Moon as a kick in the butt to change ourselves more than focusing on our partners, community, and the world. The result can be radical shifts in awareness, fulfillment, and the joy of being true to ourselves and following our heart’s desire. We’re not alone, so let’s get together!
