Hola New Paradigmers!

As I feel into the energy of these times, which speak of opportunity (the Sabian symbol is “A theatrical representation of a golden-haired goddess of opportunity”), I am reminded of the popular phobia surrounding Mercury retrograde. Retrograde planets in both the natal chart and transits symbolize the soul’s need to individualize the energies of that planet. In this case, it is Mercury, our left brain, linear, logical, rational mind.

In other words, think for yourself! I will postulate that the trouble people have with Mercury retrograde is when they follow externally defined paths/thoughts/duties despite their own intuition. Life constantly reminds us of who we are and what we are here for. If we fail to heed its messages, we have the usual Mercury retrograde problems (the car breaks down, the computer crashes, the contract of sale gets delayed, etc.).

In this case, it is in the sign of Sagittarius, the third fire sign, signaling the birth of transpersonal consciousness. This is why I emphasize the social nature of our beings. Let’s remember that Jupiter rewarded those of social service, not selfish egoists, no matter how great they were. This is a time of selfless service to others and the whole, and we will be offered opportunities to serve and give, which will be rewarded. These rewards may not be monetary, but feelings of deep fulfillment, union, and love. Go for it!

It’s time to go on the quest for the truth, the Holy Grail, the meaning of life! This new Moon in Sagittarius, accompanied by three trine aspects, indicates an auspicious time of reward for past efforts and a call for further steps to be taken. It’s time to walk the path.

Let go of the habits, conditioning, and fears implanted from the past in preparation for your new beginning. The good news is that you will receive help, support, and recognition from outside, others, and perhaps society at large as I speak of the 240-degree trines occurring with the new Moon in today’s report.

This new Moon favors all activities that support the greater good of all. Responsibility is paramount with Venus in Capricorn, and commitment to service with Saturn in Pisces will lead to fruitful results. In some ways, it is a time of reckoning, as false paths and false ways will be revealed for what they are, so let’s keep our eyes wide open!
