Hola Ghosts and Goblins!

It’s an intense week here on planet Earth, and it is reflected perfectly (as always) in the starry sky. The new Moon in Scorpio is coming Friday and portends a month-long process (or should I say therapy?) of dying to our old selves so that a new, greater self can be born. Time to let go of those old habits, clothes, people, businesses, attitudes, beliefs, you name it, that are holding you back from being the best version of yourself.

This week starts the process with three inner planets (Mercury/thoughts, Venus/attractions, and Mars/desires), all in opposition to bigger outer planets (collective, uncontrollable energies). We’re in for a wild ride, and if you’re not up to it, sorry, life doesn’t care. There’s so much to say that the Pele Report isn’t long enough, and I could write a book right here. The main points are that the most can be gained through cooperation and working together versus battling for power and control.

Second, relationships where two or more people support each other in becoming more whole within themselves and bringing their gifts forward can grow, thrive, and blossom during this time. Third, relationships where power over/under, manipulation, coercion, and/or using the other for personal gain are bound for some rough water as it’s time to balance or bust. Fourth, relationships that serve a higher, more selfless ideal can blast off! Fifth, keeping faith and hope in love will get us all through the intense challenges lying ahead and help us not to give up. Lastly, these times are an opportunity to move beyond the 3D in/out, loss/gain mentality and into a higher dimensional expression of ourselves as love/light beings. This can be done, so let’s do it!

Oh yeah, one more thing is to breathe, just breathe, relax into the discomfort, and look for the lessons leading to soul growth and evolution as they abound during these times. Ride the wild wave!

What an intense week! Happy Halloween, Day of the Dead, and All Souls Day on top of elections. Whew! It’s really hitting the fan this week with three major oppositions that have to do with polarizing energy, and the amount of energy in the air is almost palpable, isn’t it? The keyword for this Scorpio new Moon Friday is INTENSE.

Let’s keep in mind that the soul creates intensity (as in intense situations) to force up and out into the open, deep, powerful energies of transformation. So, while it is uncomfortable, it’s also full of tremendous opportunity. If we go into the discomfort instead of running from it, there are riches to be found! You may find that you are stronger, brighter, and more resourceful (the list goes on) than you thought, and the only way to discover it is through some intense emergency-type situation.

However, another truth is that there is no going back. Once you’ve discovered these aspects of yourself through intense interactions with others or life situations, you are permanently transformed into a different person. This is the resurrection that follows the death. It’s a growth process nature uses in all her manifestations, from trees losing their leaves to snakes shedding their skins to us thinking it’s all over only to find ourselves reborn. Hang in there!
