Yassas New Paradigmers!

There is a lot of astrology in this week’s report as I speak of the larger cycles of the outer planets and their movement through the final degrees of signs. I hope it is not too confusing. The main point is that each of the twelve archetypes, in a way, starts at zero degrees, almost like newborn babies who grow and mature to culmination as planets transit through to their final degrees. This is true for natal, progressed, and transit charts.

Having all the outer planets, except Pluto, which is changing sign this year ahead of the rest, move from earth and water signs into fire and air signs in 2026 signals a profound period of transition beginning now and extending through that time. We’re speaking of Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, and Neptune ALL making this change from completing a cycle to beginning anew.

Knowing this can offer us some reassurance and confidence that even though it may seem as if “the ship is sinking,” it is actually just completing one leg of its journey and sailing into a new foreign port where many discoveries are yet to be made. We may have gotten used to sailing, but it’s been so long since we set off that we may be nervous and fearful of the uncharted lands we’re approaching. Wow, what a long, strange trip it’s been, is what the Grateful Dead would say (the song Truckin’)! And it shows no sign of getting any less strange this week or in the days ahead. It’s a big week with many aspects I have woven into a synthesized report. However, there is always more to say.

Let’s start with Mercury moving from airy Libra (tactful, diplomatic, nonviolent communication) into the deep waters of Scorpio. This is a shift from a month of objective, possibly compromising, and cooperative communication (Libra) to gut-based, passionate, and intense communication. For the next month, Mercury will consciously bring us down into the depths of ourselves through our most intimate relationships, allowing us to transform them and ourselves through them.

I also wanted to spend more time on the Sun’s opposition to Chiron. Back on April 8th, the conjunction sowed the seed potential of finding the power within ourselves to speak and assert our deepest needs and fears. To stand courageously for ourselves, our rights, and our freedom to BE. Now, at the opposition, it’s time for that seed that has been developing and building energy within to come out, spread its leaves, and open its blossoms. May you bloom brightly!
