Hola New Paradigmers!

One thing I wanted to address further in today’s report is the Sun conjunct Black Moon Lilith, both during and after this recent lunar eclipse. BML is the archetype of the repressed feminine energy that has not been valued, understood, or allowed expression for thousands of years. I don’t need to go into whether you are a man or a woman, as we have all been both in past incarnations. Regardless of our sexual identity, the feminine nature of the inner, intangible, changeable, emotional, spiritual, and “otherworldly” self has been all but extinguished as such emphasis has been placed on the external, physical, ambitious, tangible, and visual world.

Well, this is changing now! We are the ones bringing in this change, but we must first accomplish it within ourselves. And let’s face it, the rewards are few! Few paychecks are being written for feeling inwardly, embracing our emotional needs, and speaking of our dreams. The reward itself is intangible yet precious, it is not only self-knowledge but inner peace, contentment, truth, and the ability to both give and receive love. These inner experiences, while perhaps not being compensated for in our current societies, are what is most lacking and most needed.

So having the Sun and Black Moon Lilith united in this eclipse season is extremely powerful! The Sun is shedding light on what has been denied or rejected within ourselves so that we may see and re-own or reintegrate it. And let’s make no mistake about it: this deep and powerful fundamental aspect of our nature is the very life force that drives and motivates us. Most significantly, it drives and motivates us TO BE OURSELVES, not conform and submit, but stand firmly in our own personal truth as a “child of the One.” Let’s do it!

Wow, what an eclipse! This lunar eclipse sets the tone for the next six months. Are you feeling it? The Sun is still opposite Neptune for a few more days before moving into Libra, signaling the end of an old way of being. As I discussed in today’s report, the theme for this eclipse is control versus surrender.

Surrender is a big word that can mean many things to many different people. Today I speak of the need to surrender our old, conditioned selves so that our true inner being can more fully emerge into expression. The thing about this is that while many of us born in Western cultures have received some of the same conditioning, we also have our own unique past/identity.

For instance, if you identify as a “spiritual person,” you may need to surrender that identity to fully realize your “humanness” i.e., your personal feelings and needs. Others may have conditioning and life experience that has encouraged them to evaluate themselves materialistically. They may need to surrender their attachment to appearances, possessions, or worldly power in order to experience themselves as spiritual beings.

No matter what conditioning/identity we have had, the time has come to deepen our self-awareness or “truth of being.” This requires stilling our minds, letting go of judgments, and listening to our deepest heart’s desires. It is a Piscean meditative journey that can be very scary, confusing, and easily doubted as the “still small voice within” is just that – still small! May the inner voice of your heart’s desire grow louder every day!
