Love is forever calling me,
To let go of my self-centered ways,
And not let my fear of losing my truth,
Make me go when I could have stayed.

Hola Equinoxers!

It’s that time of year! Whether you’re up north or down under and the seasons are changing from summer to fall or winter to spring, astrologically, for the whole planet, we’re sailing through space together on the opposite side of the Sun from the sign Libra. And that means that it’s time to “come out!” It’s not that we stop working on ourselves, as that can go on forever, but our work now involves getting some feedback and learning through interaction with others.

You see, from Aries through Cancer, we’re developing our “new stuff” inwardly. Then, in Leo, we put it out. Virgo is like editing the movie or book we just put out with feedback from the producers/publishers. But now it’s time to REALLY put ourselves out there, which can be a bit nerve-racking! On a personal level, the energy will be shifting focus to our closest partnerships as it is there that we get the most mirroring.

Let’s remember we seldom can see our own unconscious shadow. Life has set it up so that we need each other to point out our unconscious material to us (otherwise, it would be conscious)! Mars and the south node of the Moon, already in Libra, have given us a head start on bringing up any shortcomings when it comes to listening, supporting, compromising, and cooperating with our partners. Now it’s time to get ready for the Sun to put a real spotlight on it!

So, let’s look at the bright side! We’ve now got Mercury, Venus, and Mars moving direct, with Venus coming out of her shadow on October 7th. Next month, Pluto will go direct, followed by the other planets in counterclockwise order one by one. It’s time to move forward, initiate change, meet new people, start new relationships, and deepen the ones we’re in. So put on that party hat and get out there!

Love is forever calling me,
To let go of my self-centered ways,
And not let my fear of losing my truth,
Make me go when I could have stayed.

It’s time to clean up our act, put the final touches on our makeup, and get ready to get out there as the show’s about to begin! As I said in the video today, the equinox is an “evolutionary gate.” It’s a turning point. That means it’s time to make choices. Choices about what and who comes with you and what and who gets left behind.

This is also reflected in several other aspects occurring at this time. The Sun’s inconjunct Saturn in Pisces indicates that this is a time to break free from past structures that once provided security. In addition, let’s not forget that the Sun is just finishing an opposition to Neptune. That aspect brought up our illusions to help us see them and let go of pipedreams so we can create a reality more true to ourselves.

The Sun/Neptune/Saturn aspects are also emphasized again in this week’s Sabian Symbol, which ends with the “CONQUEST OF ILLUSION.” These last few weeks of the Sun/Mercury in Virgo have shown us what is real and what needs adjustment/cleaning up/cleaning out so we’re not carrying too much baggage into a new future. Take a few days of “total concentration,” get to the heart of the matter, and start anew next week!

A great place to do that would be with the dolphins in the Bahamas or with a good Pluto workshop in Daytona Beach! There are a couple of spots left, so jump on it!

I’ve settled on Nahko’s FUNCTIONAL for this week’s song. Check it out!

So Much Love,
Kaypacha
