〰️ Emotional maturity 〰️
At this Last Quarter Moon, in the final week of this lunar cycle, we are also now leaving behind the Venus-Mars cycle characterizing the past two months. As Venus and Mars have been doing their biennial reunion, we have also been diving deeper within our own relationship realms. As the Masculine and Feminine ambassadors, Venus and Mars represent within our psyches the dynamics of attraction, needs, wants, desires, and how we go about getting and having it all.
The past few months focused on the who, the what, and the how behind the relationships in our lives. Who and what are you in relationship with? And how is that going for you?
We’ve been letting go of relationship dynamics and planting new seeds. We are stepping into the unknown and growing into new ways of being in relationship with ourselves and with others. As Mars and Venus came together in both signs, Capricorn and Aquarius, there have been many lessons around personal responsibility, personal accountability, emotional maturity, and how society is built upon the successful development (or not) of these things.
If we are not healthy and healed individually, this will be expressed collectively. And there are many “collective wounds” that we are all in the process of recognizing and healing. It is a heavyweight, however, unavoidable. Life is a journey of so much joy and love and all things in between. It is everything and all things! However, Capricorn reminds us that Life itself is work and reaching the pinnacles of success, and the cornucopia of abundance is attained from out of hard work. We reap what we sow, and the fruits of our labors can always be measured.
As we begin a brand-new zodiac cycle of the year in Aries, it is a time that we have a chance to “re-set” and be “reborn” in our ways and deeds and set out on a new path of self-discovery upon fresh territory. “Go in a new direction,” say’s the voice of Aries on the Equinox.
This past reunion of the Venus and Mars cycle has been a calling to honor the wounds of the past, the pain body, and trauma patterns, and essentially to come through the process liberated into a greater sense of personal authenticity, integrity, and autonomy. We need this. It is a very personal process, and yet, together, we rise.
As Venus joins Saturn this week, the two in counsel represent taking a mature and responsible look at ourselves and what it takes in life to live and have what we want. REALITY strikes with a firm hand with Saturn and swiftly removes the rose-colored glasses. With Venus, it is often felt most clearly within our relationships. Money, love, and resources may come into sobering scrutiny this week!
As the next cosmic theme now begins to dawn in stronger and take center stage for the month of April, Jupiter’s epic reunion with Neptune (every twelve years) in Pisces will remind us that we are not alone. We are all connected on one Earth, within one human web of consciousness, affecting each other and dependent upon one another in many ways but primarily for survival itself.
April’s energies promise to plunge us deep into the Piscean watery realms where the mysteries of the deepest depths reveal themselves in guise and guile, where Gods and Demons dance between our dreams and nightmares, revealing the spectrum of what is possible in this world. Pisces represents “all that is,” “infinite potential,” “Source,” “Creator.” “Infinite potential” includes all things, all possibilities. It is up to us to focus our energies and be the change as the creators of this world that we are. Together we can dream in the dream.
