The week of the Last Quarter Moon is the final stage of the lunar cycle where we return to the “dark Moon days” and begin again. It’s the culmination phase where we are “wrapping it up.” All that has manifested and all that has been illuminated into consciousness is now in an intense integration period.

Over this next week, we prepare for the end of this cycle and the beginning of a new one at the upcoming New Moon. As we integrate all that has come into our lives, we are also being called to let go.

In this last week, it’s a time to let go of what you may not wish to carry forward into the next cycle and to move on less burdened by patterns and obstacles of the past. Mars has been a key active player in the Astro weather these days, and that energy particularly emphasizes personal identity, personal desire, and personal interests. It is very much about the power and the energy that we hold to live life and the importance of where we are directing that energy. It’s about life force and vitality and how are your relationships and daily activities supporting you.

Are you thriving? Are your boundaries supported, and do you have personal space? Do you feel the freedom to be who you are? Do you feel alive and tapped into a life force energy? Do you feel inspired? If not, what in your life needs to change?

The Sun has now entered Scorpio, and this heralds the Season of Death and Rebirth. The upcoming New Moon will be a powerful one as Mars will join the Sun and the Moon in Scorpio while the Sun exactly opposes Uranus on the day of the New Moon in Scorpio.

Mars and Uranus both represent rapid and often radical change, and Scorpio is the master of transformation. This New Moon will be a powerful catalyst into a whole new world entering your life. Much like walking through a portal from one dimension into a totally different dimension. There are some big changes on the horizon.

But first, this week, as we currently stand at the crossroads of a Last Quarter Moon, there is a confrontation to face. A question, a decision, a choice regarding your current state of consciousness, where it leads you, and where it needs to shift.

The past three weeks have granted us more awareness, more information, more experience in our lives. It’s time now to use all of that to make a more supportive move, let go of what needs to be released, and courageously step into the unknown towards the direction you now know is best for you.

As we shift our perspective the world around us shifts. Where do you need to embrace a different way of seeing things? How are your higher-self and your higher-knowing trying to support you now? This week we need to listen for the divine guidance coming in.

As Venus continues her journey through Sagittarius for just one more week, we can feel that it is a time where we are being compelled to align with our truth. To walk the talk and live in a way that represents who you are and what you believe in. As she moves into Capricorn next, it will become about establishing some firmly grounded support systems from out of the truths and beliefs that you are aligned with. Now is the time to reach for the stars and envision the highest potential of truth you would like to live and create. Soon (in Capricorn), we will be grounding those dreams and visions and making them real.

This week as Mars moves out of the peace-loving sign of Libra and into the depth-detective sign of Scorpio (for six weeks), things are about to get even more intense in our personal lives! This is a period that is about clearing out the old and in with the new – to put it nicely. The intense version looks like the profundity of death and rebirth.

It’s all about the deep heart and soul matters that make the core of our lives go’round. Scorpio is about the things/people that we live and die for. The things that we hide for the sake of feeling safe and secure. The things we need to survive and to feel alive. And the things that we avoid because we are terrified to feel all that they will demand that we feel. It is about growth and evolution. Being someone and then becoming someone else. Being some version of yourself and then becoming more of who you are. From the caterpillar to the butterfly, pure alchemical transformation.
